Repair IMEI Null Oppo A71 (CPH1717) using UFi Android ToolBox
Imei null in Oppo A71 (CPH1717) is one of the hot cases for now.
These devices use secure mediatek platforms, usually not too hard to fix IMEI on mediatek platforms.
Most cases can be solved via META and AT modes.
But Oppo apparently has a different approach in implementing IMEI this time,
they use what we call "Custom Secure Imei"
Through soft release update UFI Box Software,
we have provided solution to solve Imei problem in Oppo A71 (CPH1717).
These is step by step how to repair it using UFi Android ToolBox:
Step1.
Power off Devices. Make Identify Devices,
Hold vol up button while connecting USB to force devices in Mediatek BootRom mode [MTK USB Port].
**Dont forget to Always select Brand, Platform, and Model correctly.
Step2.
Go to Special Task and select [Oppo] Custom secure imei patch
After Patch custom secure imei finish,
Power On devices, wait until devices fully boot and enter to homescreen.
Power OFF devices again after that.
Step3.
Re-Write Original Imei in Service tab menu.
Please pay attention to windows Log.
Modem Info must be displayed during repair procedure, otherwise it will Failed.
If you face failed in this step, please go to first step,
Make erase nvdata and nvram partitions, and continue to next step
