The most common and recommended way to download the official Windows 10 ISO file is by using the Microsoft Media Creation Tool.

You can also often download the ISO file directly from the Microsoft software download page by accessing it from a non-Windows device or by changing your browser's user agent to simulate a non-Windows operating system.

Using the Media Creation Tool
  • Download the tool: Go to the official Microsoft Windows 10 software download page and click the "Download tool now" button to get the Media Creation Tool.
  • Run the tool: Double-click the downloaded file (MediaCreationToolxxxx.exe) and accept the license terms.
  • Choose your action: Select "Create installation media (USB flash drive, DVD, or ISO file) for another PC" and click Next.
  • Select options: Choose the desired language, edition, and architecture (64-bit or 32-bit). You can uncheck "Use the recommended options for this PC" if you want to change them. Click Next.
  • Select ISO: Choose "ISO file" from the media selection screen and click Next.
  • Save the file: Choose a location on your PC to save the Windows 10 ISO file and click Save. The download will begin.

Once the download is complete, you can use the ISO file to install Windows 10 on a computer, install it in a virtual machine, or burn it to a DVD or USB drive to create bootable installation media.
